The NUSChoir, a member of NUS Centre For the Arts, is proud to present the inaugural
Junior College Invitational 2009 (JCI2009), a gathering of Singapore’s pre‐university
choristers.
JCI2009 hopes to bring together the choristers from the various pre‐university institutions
who are inclined in further honing their choral expertise and talents upon graduating from
their respective institutions.
The event details are as follows:
Date/Day: 10th December 2009, Thursday
Time: 2pm – 6pm
Venue: NUS Centre For the Arts Studios
Kent Ridge Campus
National University of Singapore
The programme of the JCI2009 includes an introduction of The NUSChoir to prospective
choristers, vocal workshop and master class, interaction with fellow choristers and finale
showcase performance by the participants of JCI2009.
Selected participants of the JCI2009 will be invited to be part of The NUSChoir Christmas
Caroling 2009, which will happen on the 14th to 25th December 2009. The NUSChoir will be
caroling at various hotels and shopping centers and this will be a great opportunity for the
choristers to gain exposure in a different performance setting.
