in.harmoNY 2010: Beauty and the Beast (An Adaptation) @ 10:12 PM

In succession with its repository of achievements in choral competitions, this year, Nanyang Junior College Choir will be showcasing their vocal verve in their upcoming concert in.harmoNY, following a two year hiatus since AbsoMUSIClutely in 2008. In 2010, NYJChoir entered a new chapter under the tutelage of renowned local choral conductor, Mr. Terrence Toh. 2010 NYJConcert, in.harmoNY, means two things; one- the dissonance of the chords of a piece and, two- the esprit de corps in NYJChoir. The now 80-strong Nanyang Junior College Choir has improved since its last public appearance ,presenting to you the motifs and choral techniques in genres of folklore and Walt Disney’s enamouring Beauty and the Beast production. The production is set to transport you into a heritage expanse, featuring the energy of a lineup of folklore opuses such as Sik sik si batu manikam. Under the sterling artistic direction of Mr. Terrence Toh, the choir will employ their choral finesse and present the audience with their own rendition of the Beauty and the Beast.

We extend our invitation to you to luxuriate in the melodic voices of the Nanyang Junior College Choir on 22nd May 2010, 7.30 p.m. at Victoria Concert Hall. Tickets to a concert can be obtained from your friendly NYJC chorister for $12(stall seats) and $15(circle seats).
